Upper East Side Homes For Sale

Upper East Side Condos, Milwaukee WI

Wedged in between Murray Hill and Downer Woods is Milwaukee’s Upper East Side—a neighborhood that’s loaded with some of the city’s most charming and elegant single-family homes you’ll find listed on the market. Bounded by Kenwood Boulevard to the north, Oakdale Avenue to the west, Newberry Boulevard to the south, and Lake Drive to the east, the Upper East Side certainly isn’t one of Milwaukee’s largest neighborhoods, but as you’ll quickly find during your search, it still has a whole lot to offer. And along with all of its quite residential streets, the Lower East Side’s close proximity to the lakefront also keeps homes here in very high demand among those who happen to be looking for a new place to live.

Living in the Upper East Side

The Upper East Side is almost entirely residential, so you won’t find many attractions or community amenities within the neighborhood itself. But Lake Park and the Lake Park Golf Course happened to be situated right on the other side of Lake Drive from the Lower East Side’s eastern boundary line, while the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee also sits immediately north of the neighborhood as well. And with Lake Drive being so close, getting to and from downtown Milwaukee is fairly quick and easy on most days, also making this part of the city a convenient place to live for the everyday commuter.

Upper East Side Real Estate

As alluded to above, the Upper East Side is filled with historic single-family homes that rarely leave luxury home buyers disappointed. Home to some of Milwaukee’s most expensive homes on the market, some houses scattered around the Upper East Side have been known to reach and even exceed $800,000 or $900,000, but that’s really only in a few instances. In fact, most homes for sale in the Upper East Side fall somewhere between $300,000 and $500,000, providing potential buyers with plenty of attractive and desirable options to choose from during their search.
